Nick Wang
|
Nick Wang has a bi-cultural and bi-lingual background and is well experienced
in international business between the US and China. Mr. Wang grew up in China
before he came to the US for graduate study at the University of Colorado at
Boulder. He has extensive business relationships with Chinese companies and
networks in various industries, including travel, technology,
import/export, legal and real estate.
Prior to founding China travel and Tour, Mr. Wang co-founded Groople Inc,
supervising the product development of the |
Internet based small leisure group booking engine. Groople launched successfully in early 2004 and over the year has grown to a multi-million dollar company.
Before Groople, Mr. Wang was also the Vice President of Groople's parent holding company, Fatty Tuna Inc. He was in charge of the company's e-commerce strategy and product development. He successfully developed and managed outsourcing partnership with Chinese companies to help Fatty Tuna significantly reduce operating cost and time to market.

Steve Grace |
Steve graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Anthropology. He is an author with two published books and a forthcoming collaborative book project with the Library of Congress.
Steve gained publicity and marketing experience in the publishing industry, and he has served as a manager, director and consultant for nonprofit organizations devoted to youth development and leadership. |
| Steve has extensive experience organizing tours to China. For the past couple years, he has focused on developing leadership programs, cultural tours and sports tours in China for clients ranging from a nonprofit global leadership organization to a Chinese cultural institute. He is currently developing Mandarin language tours for high school students and a bike race tour on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau for avid racers. |

Gina Hander |
| Gina Hander graduated with
her M.A. in art history with a focus on Chinese art and architecture from CU Boulder.
During her graduate studies she spent time in rural Huizhou, China, researching domestic
architecture and women’s lives within the house. She is deeply interested in China’s
social history and material culture, particularly ancient Chinese art and early artistic
influences from neighboring cultures. She now designs art, architecture, and cultural
tours for CTT to share her passion for China with others. She is also actively involved
in the local art community and volunteers with local museums for Asia-related projects.

Gina gained her passion for Chinese culture while traveling throughout Asia as a
Marketing Manager for Dieterich Standard, Inc., a Boulder engineering firm. Her early
studies were in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University, and she is
now takes students from engineering programs across the United States to China for civil
engineering-themed tours.

Laurence Tian
|
As an undergraduate with her
Bachelor’s Degree in the arts from Foreign Languages Institute of Beijing Capital
Normal University, Ms. Laurence Tian has devoted herself to the travel industry in
China since 1999.
With her extensive experience in and overwhelming knowledge about the travel
industry, Ms. Tian led the sales and marketing section of Beijing China Travel
Service Co. Ltd., one of the top ten travel agencies in China. When serving Beijing
Olympic International Travel as the managing director of Overseas Dept, she
successfully organized a pre-tour for the officials of International Olympic
Committee.

Co-operating with Beijing Tourism Administration (BTA), Ms. Tian now contributes
herself much to the exchange programs promoting 2008 Olympic Games, Beijing with
western countries like Netherland and France. Fluent in French, Ms. Tian now also
focuses on creating and delivering globally-exchanged programs for cultural, musical
and educational diversity among the people all over the world.
